Keep the mouth covered when coughing and sneezing. The rule has an extension that cautions people against spitting aimlessly. Use the crook of your elbow and a tissue when sneezing. The bare hand will cause further spread of germs that are released once you sneeze. Clean and sanitize your hands after sneezing as well.
